PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting element drive device which enables various dimming controls, and in which a light-emitting element drive part and a dimming control part can be arranged in various manners.SOLUTION: An LED drive device 1 is connected with one power supply unit 10 and drives a plurality of LED module groups 51. The LED drive device 1 comprises: a plurality of LED drive part groups 31 provided so as to correspond to the LED module groups 51 respectively, and driving the corresponding LED module group 51 respectively; and at least one dimming control part 21 that can control a dimming operation of at least a part of the LED drive part groups 31. The LED drive part groups 31 and the dimming control part 21 constitute a series body connected in series to the power supply unit 10. The power supply unit 10 is connected with one end of the series body. At least one of the dimming control part 21, and an LED drive part group 31 that is a control target by the dimming control part 21 among the plurality of LED drive part groups 31, can be arranged at an arbitrary position of the series body. |
