PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having a configuration where the insertion and fixation or fixation release and pull-out of a developer container can be performed by one action and an operator can stably feel a proper click feeling.SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes a developer container (100) which has an engaging part (108), stores a developer, and can be freely inserted into an apparatus body and a rocking member (104) having a part to be engaged (106) feely engageable with the engaging part and rocked around a rocking shaft (80) arranged in a direction crossing the insertion direction (direction of an arrow A) of the developer container in the apparatus body. Further, the image forming apparatus includes an elastic member (105) compressed between the developer container and the rocking member and pressing the rocking member, so as to rock it, to engage the part to be engaged with the engaging part and fix the developer container to the apparatus body, when the developer container is inserted. |
