<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller and an information processor capable of preventing useless use of the power for pre-fetching.SOLUTION: When a processing unit is in an idle state out of processing, and when the number of data streams to be accessed in series is smaller than a threshold value, the controller controls a power supply unit to stop the power supply to the cache memory. When a processing unit is in the idle state out of processing, and when the number of data streams to be accessed in series is larger than the threshold value, the controller controls a power supply unit to continue the power supply to the cache memory.</p> |
