<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an organic EL light-emitting device, by which a shielding space against air necessary in a sealing process is eliminated, thereby, increase in a device cost or decrease in a tact occurring in the sealing process is suppressed, as well as a production cost is reduced, and thereby, an inexpensive organic EL light-emitting device is manufactured and a non-emission width (shrinkage) from a cathode edge region to a light-emission region can be suppressed from enlarging in a sealing structure where at least a part of a rear member of the device is in contact with a cathode.SOLUTION: The method aims manufacturing an EL light-emitting device that includes a substrate 1, an organic EL element comprising at least a first electrode 2, an organic functional layer 3, and a second electrode 4, and a rear member in contact with at least a part of the second electrode. The method includes the steps of: forming the organic EL element by use of the second electrode containing at least aluminum; and bonding the organic EL element with the rear member in an environment containing oxygen by 18 vol.% or more and 22 vol.% or less.</p> |
