<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply pump system for a temporary toilet that can stably supply water to a temporary toilet group to which a power failure occurs in a case of a disaster (the power failure).SOLUTION: A water supply pump system for a temporary toilet comprises: an emergency power supply driven pump 5; a hand pump 6; a suction pipe 2 for sucking water from a water source 1 to both the pumps 5, 6; a suction branch pipe 3 connected to the suction pipe 2, fitted with a gate valve or three-way valve halfway, and having one side connected to the emergency power supply driven pump 5 and the other connected to the hand pump 6; a confluence pipe 7 fitted with a three-way valve 8 for joining together flows of discharge ports 5b, 6b of both the pumps 5, 6; and a feed water distribution pipe 9 connected to the confluence pipe 7 and feeding water to a temporary toilet 18. The emergency power supply driven pump is normally placed in operation to supply water. If the emergency power supply driven pump becomes unable to operate, the gate vale is opened or the three-way valve is switched to a side for sucking the water of the water source into the hand pump, and the three-way valve fitted to the confluence pipe is changed from the hand pump to a water supply port side of the temporary toilet so as to supply water through backup operation by the hand pump.</p> |
