<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake pedal structure of a drum brake of a motor cycle which changes a lever ratio of the drum brake according to the weight of a load, and suitably adjusts a brake force of the drum brake with respect to a pedal-in amount of the brake pedal.SOLUTION: A brake pedal structure comprises: a drum brake 35 which is arranged at a swing arm 8, and brakes a rear wheel 7; a brake pedal 43 which oscillates around a brake pedal shaft 42 arranged at a vehicle body frame; a lever 46 which oscillates around a lever shaft 45 arranged at the swing arm 8; a connecting pin 47 which connects the brake pedal 43 and the lever 46, and makes the lever 46 follow the oscillation of the brake pedal 43; and a brake rod 48 which connects the lever 46 and the drum brake 35, and transmits the oscillation of the lever 46 to the drum brake 35. The lever 46 has a long hole 57 which changes an inter-shaft distance Dv between the lever 45 and the connecting pin 47 by following the oscillation of the swing arm 8.</p> |
