<p>The lift and change device is formed by an articulated chassis on a support frame and incorporates a pair of tie rods and sliding blocks, a block guide and a bar carrying the engagement components drive by an up and down movement and horizontal transfer movement, this device which forms an integral part of the spinning frame, is located beneath the shaft bench when at rest taking up a minimum volumetric position. (a) each tie rod is articulated at the end of the bar and at the other end to one of the sliding blocks which move axially on a guide rod. (b) each block is fitted to an endless chain, the latter driven by a wheel with positive turn and attached at high level to a sliding block whilst it can move in relation to the other and vice-versa. (c) a sub-assembly of the articulated chassis integral with a rack, engages a motor driven pinion through an r.p.m. reduction mechanism. (d) the articulated chassis support is rigid and comprises three plates and two cross-pieces or horizontal bars which in turn are integral with a vertical guide of the cross-piece carrying the engagement components.</p> |
