<p>This information processing system comprises a management device and a plurality of information processing devices, each information processing device including an execution unit and a control unit which receives an execution instruction from the management device and causes the execution unit to execute the process specified by the execution instruction. One information processing device of the plurality of information processing devices comprises: a first processing unit which, upon detecting a shutdown of the control unit of another information processing device of the plurality of information processing devices, receives, on behalf of the another information processing device, a first execution instruction transmitted from the management device to the control unit of the another information processing device; and a second processing unit which requests the execution unit of the another information processing device to execute the process specified by the first execution instruction.</p> |
