The machine (1) has a cutting unit (S) for cutting of cutting goods, where the cutting unit exhibits a rotatably driven blade that is gripped by a cover (14) comprising an insertion opening (15). The cutting goods are vertically and downwardly pressed for the penetration through the parallelly moved blades, where the parallel blades are rotatingly driven together with the rotatable blade. The cutting goods are moved through the parallel blades by an application of pressure from the cover.
