<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a state that a conventional software version can be operated even when a version of software is changed at the time of cooperative operation. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus has: detecting means for detecting a difference of the version of functional modules for executing jobs which an image processing apparatus as a master unit and an image processing apparatus as a slave unit have; introducing means for introducing a functional module of a version which can execute the job when the difference is detected; controlling means for controlling the functional module introduced by the introducing means and a functional module existing before the introduction by the introducing means to be independently operated; determining means for determining which one out of the functional module introduced by the introducing means or the functional module existing before the introduction by the introducing means executes the job; and invalidating means for invalidating the functional module introduced by the introducing means after executing the job. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
