<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate acquisition of device information of an electronic apparatus without necessity of high knowledge of IT technology. <P>SOLUTION: A device information providing apparatus 1 includes an information extraction part 2 and an information search part 3. The information extraction part 2 has a function of extracting the device information from communication data including required device information. The information search part 3 has a function of searching device information of an apparatus subjected to information search from a storage device storing the extracted device information. In other words, the device information stored in the storage device is associated with image data of a corresponding apparatus. The information search part 3, upon reception of the image data as an image data indicating an apparatus subjected to information search from the outside, searches the device information of the apparatus subjected to information search from the storage device, based on checking the image data against the image data associated with the apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
