<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool capable of preventing a user from unexpectedly touching a speed change lever. <P>SOLUTION: The power tool includes a motor 30 which is accommodated in a housing 2 and works as a drive source, and a deceleration mechanism unit 4 which transmits the rotational power of the motor 30 to a fore end tool 7 provided on a front end of the housing 2, and changes the rotating speed by a speed change lever 23 from the outside of the housing 2.
