<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The balance (1) has a housing (2) for accommodating functional elements. A load-introducing member (4) is passed through an opening (3) formed on a top side of the housing. An opening (7) is formed corresponding to the opening (3) when the housing and a draft shield arrangement (5) are connected. The draft shield arrangement is separated from a fastening arrangement (8), and a rim is provided in the opening (3). Two parts (8', 8'') of the fastening arrangement are connected in a form-locking connection, where the part (8'') is arranged at the opening (7) of the draft shield arrangement. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Balance for a weighing object i.e. weighing pan. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The balance is simple in structure, reduces height of a floor, easily performs cleaning process, and prevents spilled liquids from getting into an interior of the balance to cause malfunctions. The balance damps impact force that hit the draft shield arrangement, quickly decays oscillations caused by the impact force, and reduces waiting time until weighing process is performed so that lost time is avoided.
