The present invention relates to a surgical waterproof and moisture-permeable article using a waterproof and moisture-permeable fabric having improved durability. The waterproof and moisture-permeable fabric of the present invention is a composite film in which fabrics woven or knitted of a polyester yarn and then dye-processed are stacked on both surfaces of a waterproof and moisture-permeable film of polyurethane. The 3-layered waterproof and moisture-permeable fabric facilitates sweating through a waterproof and moisture-permeable performance of the waterproof and moisture-permeable film, and has an excellent protection performance against infectious pathogens by preventing the infiltration of infectious pathogens from the outside. The waterproof and moisture-permeable film, which is formed of a polyurethane-based material, enables the supply of a product with excellent barrier properties against infectious pathogens at lower costs compared with an existing PTFE material, thereby reducing the risk of secondary infection. In addition, the interlayer adhesive durability for the waterproof and moisture-permeable fabric is enhanced by plasma treatment, thereby ensuring washing durability when high-temperature washing is conducted several times. Therefore, the waterproof and moisture-permeable fabric can be reused, and thus can be favorably used for a surgical waterproof and moisture-permeable article. |
