Support apparatus 2 is provided for barrier means (114, Fig 3). The support apparatus includes support means 12 for supporting one or more barrier means (114, Fig 3) therewith in use. Movement means 26, 30, 32 are provided for allowing movement of the support apparatus relative to a surface (uppermost flange 102 of an installed I-beam 100) in use. Stop means 46, preferably in the form of a cam wheel, are provided for stopping or preventing movement of the movement means or support apparatus when in use. A method of using the support apparatus and a fall prevention system incorporating the support apparatus is also included. |
