<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rewrite card reader capable of preventing quality of print information or data from being lost owing to erasure and printing in continuous use of a leuco type rewrite card. <P>SOLUTION: A card reader writer 1 includes a conveyance mechanism which conveys a rewrite card 10 inserted from a card insertion slot 2 along a card conveyance path 9, a camera module 5 as an optical bar code reader which reads a bar code 10a represented on the rewrite card 10, and a print head 6 which prints on the rewrite card 10. Then the card reader writer 1 has a function of comparing print information (card ID information etc.) of the currently inserted card with last process card information (last card ID information etc.) recorded in the card reader writer 1, and holding the card 10 in the card reader writer 1 for a predetermined time which is long enough to fix leuco dye and then performing erasure and printing the time later when determining that the card is the same card 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
