<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact projection lens whose various aberrations are excellently corrected, in which when an image is obliquely projected in a projection device, a one-sided blur is generated by the eccentricity of the lens group of an optical system, to correct a focus and to provide the projection device. <P>SOLUTION: When detection means TS detects the inclination of a projection device PJ, a signal corresponding to the detected inclination is outputted to a controller CONT. The controller CONT decides a lens shift amount to properly correct the blur of the image, according to the inclination of the projection device PJ and relatively shifts (decenters) a first lens group G1 and a second lens group in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis through a lens drive device DR.
