<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a graph creation device and a graph creation method which automatically create a partially omitted graph of a graph displaying a plurality of objects and numerical values of the objects on two axes of an X axis and a Y axis. <P>SOLUTION: A graph creation device creates a graph on a display device 25 by acquiring predetermined values from various types of data. In a graph creation device, a control device 21 is configured to: display a graph display screen 100 comprising a graph display area 110 and an operation area 120 on the display device 25, on receiving an instruction to create a graph from an input device 24; generate a graph 200a displaying a plurality of objects 111 and numerical values of the objects 111 on an X axis and a Y axis in the graph display area 110; set a blank area 201 on a lower limit side of any one of the X axis and the Y axis which indicate numerical values, on receiving an instruction to create a partially omitted graph 200b from the input device 24; and perform enlarged display of a range L1 between a maximum value A and a minimum value B of the numerical values on an upper limit side of any one of the X axis or the Y axis which indicate numerical values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
