The reticulated starch may be used in conjunction with a lesser quantity of unmodified starch. The KOHaq. of an air-depolarized primary cell may contain reticulated starch at a concentration of 150-240 grammes/litre-1. Another use for the electrolyte is in admixture with pulverulent zinc to form the negative active mass of a cell.
