A tester for a display panel to test a display panel having pixels includes a sensing element, a logic circuit pat, and a display part. The sensing element senses the luminance of output beams outputted from the pixels. The sensing element generates electric signals corresponding to the sensed luminance. The logic circuit part compares the output value of the electric signal outputted from the sensing element with a predetermined reference value. The logic circuit part outputs the comparison result between the output value and the reference value in the form of a control signal of a binary system. Moreover, the display part receives the control signal to display a test pattern. |
