<p>The present invention provides a soft reduction apparatus of a slab. The soft reduction apparatus comprises: a first soft reduction roll installed on the lower part of a slab in a soft reduction to reduce a slab; multiple second soft reduction rolls installed on the upper part of the slab in a soft reduction section and separated from each other to separately reduce the slab; and a control unit controlling each of the separated second rolls by separately applying the roll forces of the second soft reduction rolls to the slab. The soft reduction apparatus of a slab is provided to accurately reduce the slab at a location where coagulation is delayed by separately controlling the separated soft reduction rolls, thereby reducing the widthwise center segregation of the slab.</p> |
