<p>The present invention relates to a battery protection circuit module package, which is advantageous in integration and miniaturization and provides a battery protection circuit module package, comprising: a PTC structure including a PTC element, a metal layer attached to a first surface, which is one of upper and lower surfaces of the PTC element, and a connecting member attached to a second surface, which is the other of the upper and lower surfaces of the PTC element; a lead frame including a plurality of spaced-apart leads and electrically connected to an electrode terminal of a battery bare cell by way of the PTC structure; and a battery protection circuit element mounted on the lead frame and including at least one of a protection integrated circuit (IC), a field effect transistor (FET), and at least one passive element, wherein the passive element is arranged to connect at least a portion of the spaced-apart leads with one another. Furthermore, an electrical connecting member connecting two selected from a group consisting of the protection IC, the FET, and the leads with one another is provided, such that the battery protection circuit is configured without using a separate printed circuit board.</p> |
