A plastic body comprises a first layer 7 of rotomouldable plastic, a second layer 6 comprising a rotomouldable plastic, as filler and a coupling agent, and a plastics foam core, wherein the coupling agent acts to form a bund between the rotomouldable plastic, the filler, and the core. The coupling agent may be maleic anhydride, acrylic acid or vinyl acetate and the filler may be an organic granular material such as wood flour or vegetable fibre. The rotomouldable plastics are preferably polyolefins and the core is preferably a polyurethane foam. |
