<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the heat transfer area of a cooling medium flowing through a cooling medium passages formed in each flat pipe. <P>SOLUTION: A heat exchanger (30) includes a plurality of flat pipes (31) which are arranged vertically with their side faces set opposite to each other and have a plurality of cooling medium passages (80) formed inside to extend along the direction of their length, and a plurality of fins (35, 35) demarcating gaps between the flat pipes (31) adjacent to each other into a plurality of ventilating passages through which air flows. In each of the flat pipes (31), each of the cooling medium passages (80) has first grooves (83) extending along the direction of length of the pipes. In a sectional view perpendicular to the axis of the pipe, each of the first grooves (83) has a groove periphery portion (87) formed into a curved surface, a groove bottom portion (84) formed into a curved surface, and a straight line portion (88) formed between the groove bottom portion (84) and the groove periphery portion (87). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
