<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to perform proper focus adjustment for imaging of a subject during a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: An image acquisition unit 11 performs imaging of a subject and acquires an image of the subject. An edge extraction unit 12 extracts an image edge seen in the image acquired by the image acquisition unit 11. A blur evaluation value detection unit 13 corrects intensity of the edge extracted by the edge extraction unit 12 based on an orientation of the edge and detects intensity after the correction as a blur evaluation value representing a degree of the blur of the image. A focal position adjustment unit 14 adjusts setting of a focal position when the image acquisition unit 11 performs imaging of the subject based on the blur evaluation value detected by the blur evaluation value detection unit 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
