<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the constant amount of powder per unit time discharged from a powder coating gun even when total air amount discharged from the powder coating gun is adjusted. <P>SOLUTION: In a powder transporting device equipped with an injector 12 for transporting powder by air through a transporting hose 6 from a discharge port 14, the amount of the main air supplied from a main air nozzle 7 is set to be the amount which gives the set amount of powder discharge supplied from the discharge port 14 to the transporting hose 6; the amount of sub air supplied from a sub air nozzle 8 is controlled to be the amount obtained by subtracting the amount of the main air from the set amount of the total air supplied to the transporting hose 6; and even when the amount of total air discharged from the discharge port 14 of the injector 12 is increased or decreased, the amount of powder per unit time, contained in the total air discharged from the discharge port 14 of the injector 12, can be maintained constant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
