<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear motor capable of precisely holding a long stator at a magnetically neutral position when shipping or maintaining the linear motor or the like and reducing unneeded frictions by bringing a clamping member into non-contact state to the long stator when a guide mechanism is not needed. <P>SOLUTION: The linear motor including a long stator 4 and a cylindrical mover 3 inserted relatively movably in the longitudinal direction of the long stator 4 is provided with a plurality of clamping members 30 which are projected from an inner surface of the cylindrical mover 3 to clamp the long stator 4. Each of the plurality of clamping members 30 includes a shaft 302 projected from the inner surface of the cylindrical mover 3 and a column member 301 made eccentric from a center line of the shaft 302 and fixed to an end part of the shaft 302 so as to be attached and separated to/from the long stator 4 by turning of the shaft 302. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
