A modular chiller for an aircraft galley beverage cart compartment is disclosed characterized by a cassette that inserts into the galley compartment above the beverage cart and houses an air return duct, a heat exchanger, a fan, and an air supply outlet. The chiller further includes a control valve for controlling the amount of air passing through the heat exchanger, and an electronic control box for control over the chiller, where the cassette is disposed between the beverage cart and a galley work deck. |
