Provided is an electromagnetic induction sensor capable of overcoming problems in manufacturing as well as improving accuracy in detecting the coordinates of an indicated position by a position indicator. In a sensor substrate body, a surface sheet is attached onto the first surface of an insulation substrate where a position is indicated by a position indicator and at least part of a conductor which makes up a coil is formed on the second surface which is the opposite side of the insulation substrate to the first surface. A cover lay member which includes at least a magnetic material layer is attached to the second surface of the sensor substrate body. |
