<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a variety of music from multiple sets of material data. <P>SOLUTION: A storage device 24 stores therein multiple sets of material data S representing music. A feature acquiring unit 34 acquires a time series of multiple sets of feature data F[1] to F[N], which respectively include numerical values of features fk of different images. A material selecting unit 36 selects, from the multiple sets of material data S, a set of material data S[n] corresponding to the feature fk of a set of feature data F[n], for each set of feature data F[1] to F[N].
