<p>The invention provides a bracket type connector for cards, which can reduce installation area. A connector (10) comprises a bracket (2), a housing (3), a cover plate (4) and a plurality of contact terminals (51, 52). The bracket comprises a first recessing part (21) for carrying a card (1). The housing is provided with a second recessing part (32) for the bracket (2) to get in and out. The cover plate (4) covers the second recessing part (32). The first recessing part (21) is provided with a first support arm (22), a second support arm (23) and an avoidance part (24). The second recessing part (32) is provided with a first guiding wall (31a) and a second guiding wall (31b). The first guiding wall (31a) is disposed at one side wall (31) of the second recessing part (32) and is capable of guiding the outer side wall (221) of the first support arm (22). The second guiding wall (31b) is disposed on another side wall (31) and is capable of guiding another side edge (1b) of the card (1) exposing from the avoidance part (24). The connector can reduce installation area in the width direction.</p> |
