<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately evaluate an exposure amount when a subject moves. <P>SOLUTION: An evaluation area setting part 9 sets an evaluation area when picking up a difference image of a next frame, based on position information of an object. The imaging apparatus A1 is equipped with: an object extraction part 10 extracting the object (automobile) from the difference image generated by an image generation part 7 in order to acquire the position information of the object; and an object position estimation part 11 estimating the position of the object extracted by the object extraction part 10. Since the evaluation area setting part 9 sets the evaluation area X when picking up the difference image of the next frame, based on the position information of the object of the next frame estimated by position estimating means (object extraction part 10 and object position estimation part 11), the exposure amount is appropriately evaluated even when the subject (object) moves. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
