<p>The present invention relates to a molecular marker for selecting cucumber downy mildew disease resistant entities and to a selecting method using the same. Provided is a polymorphic marker for selecting cucumber downy mildew disease resistant entities consisting of 10-100 continuous base sequences or the complementary base sequences of the same, wherein the 10-100 continuous base sequences includes one or more bases selected from a 36th base, a 238th base, a 349th based, or a 352th based in a base sequence represented by sequence number 1. Moreover, provided are a primer set which can amplify the polymorphic marker and selects cucumber downy mildew disease resistant entities and a primer set consisting of one or more base sequences selected from the group consisting of sequence number 4 to sequence number 11 or complementary base sequences of the same. In addition, provided are a method for selecting cucumber downy mildew disease resistant entities using the primer sets and a method for growing cucumber downy mildew disease resistant entities. Also, provided is a kit which includes the primer sets and restriction enzymes and selects cucumber downy mildew disease resistant entities.</p> |
