The present invention provides an image sensor and a control method thereof. According to the present invention, the image sensor includes: a sensor array including a plurality of pixels which is separated by a column and a row; a lamp signal generator which generates a lamp signal which increases or reduces to a specific slope in response to a lamp enable signal; and an analog-digital converter which is connected electrically to the pixels by column, converts into time information by comparing each output signal and each lamp signal of the pixels, and converts the time information into digital information in response to the counter enable signal. The counter enable signal is activated in a preset time delay after the lamp enable signal. |
