<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treatment method of an iron substrate which can improve wear resistance and low friction performance. <P>SOLUTION: The surface treatment method of an iron substrate includes steps of: forming a carbon film 20 at a surface of a substrate 10; applying a fullerene 30 on the formed carbon film 20; and heating and pressurizing the substrate 10 in which the carbon film 20 is formed on the surface thereof and the fullerene 30 is applied on the carbon film 20, using a high temperature, high pressure gas with a temperature of approximately 500°C or more and a pressure of approximately 150 MPa or more, as a medium. The carbon film 20 contains nano-carbon 25 belonging to a nano-carbon group. The nano-carbon 25 belongs to a nano-carbon group such as a carbon nano-fiber, a carbon nano-tube, a carbon nano-coil and a carbon nano-filament. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
