<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite structure of urine absorbent and urine deodorant as an independent merchandise, and a lavatory mat using the same that is sold and rented. <P>SOLUTION: The composite structure of urine absorbent and urine deodorant comprised of super absorbent polymers and deodorant is made by dispersing a hot-melt adhesive on a felt of 2 mm thickness, adhering super absorbent polymers and deodorant thereto, and covering the felt with a nonwoven fabric. The composite structure is inserted between a urine diffusing/penetrating type carpet and an impermeable backing material, the urine diffusing/penetrating type carpet and the impermeable backing material are bonded, or an opening is provided partially on the carpet to bond the composite structure of urine absorbent and urine deodorant such that it can be taken in and out. Thus, a lavatory mat having such a composite structure of urine absorbent and urine deodorant for rental or sale is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
