<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce or eliminate a viewer's stress relating to viewing of an image even during power saving. <P>SOLUTION: A light source control device 1 comprises a control unit 10 which displays on a display unit 30 an original image or a processed image obtained by subjecting the original image to image processing. The image processing includes at least processing of changing the style of the original image, and the brightness of the processed image is higher than that of the original image. The control unit 10 controls a light source 30a provided to the display unit 30 and used to display the original image or the processed image to adjust the luminance of the light source 30a to be lower when displaying the processed image on the display unit 30 than when displaying the original image on the display unit 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
