<p>The present invention relates to a method for injecting melting steel into a mold for casting an ingot, and an ingot casting apparatus. The method for injecting melting steel into a mold for casting an ingot comprises injecting molten steel into a main ladle as much as a final injection amount of molten steel injected into the mold for casting the ingot, discharging the molten steel in the main ladle to a pony ladle, and injecting the molten steel supplied to the pony ladle into the mold for casting the ingot. Accordingly, the time required for operation is shortened as the mold for casting the ingot is filled with the molten steel with one ladle when a large-sized ingot of which the capacity is bigger than steelmaking capacity of an electric furnace is manufactured, and power consumption required for casting the ingot is minimized.</p> |
