An outdoor light comprises a housing 10 containing an electric control module (15, Fig. 1) and a lighting housing 20 including a vertical space 21 and two side sections 22. LED assemblies 30 are located between the side sections 22 and each assembly 30 comprises a circuit board 31, radiating fins 32 and LEDs. Two side covers 40 are pivotally mounted to the side sections 22. An upper cover 50 is pivotally mounted to the housing 10 and may rotate over the side covers 40. A gap is provided between the upper cover 50 and side covers 40. An end section 45 is located between the two side sections 22. A heat-dissipating area (70, Fig. 5) is formed by the space between the upper cover 50 and side covers 40 to aid dissipation of heat from the LED assemblies 30. |
