<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the quality of a formed part. <P>SOLUTION: In a first step, a hollow preformed part is formed by locally heating portions to be heated which is set in the predetermined places of a pipe stock, pressurizing the pipe stock from both ends and forming buckled/deformed parts 20 by generating buckled deformation in the portions to be heated. In a second step, the formed part is formed by supplying a high-pressure forming medium in the preformed part and deforming the preformed part according to the inner profile shape of a cavity. Since the buckled/deformed parts are formed on the preformed part, frictional resistance generated between the inner peripheral surface of the cavity and the outer peripheral surface of the preformed part is reduced.
