<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support system in which a possibility of a minor collision between an own vehicle and an obstacle existing around the own vehicle can be determined appropriately under the situation where the own vehicle changes its lane or turns right or left. <P>SOLUTION: If a specific situation where a vehicle changes its lane or turns to right or left occurs, a type of the specific situation is determined by specific situation type determination means 14 and while using a traveling route of a vehicle 2 predicted by traveling route prediction means 15 in accordance with the determined type, minor collision possibility determination means 16 executes processing of determining a possibility of a minor collision between the own vehicle 2 and an obstacle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
