1. An armor assembly for a vehicle, comprising:
a frame member; an underbody armor panel coupled to the frame member and having an inner portion and an outer portion; a side armor panel coupled to the outer portion of the underbody armor panel with a toothed connection, wherein the underbody armor panel includes a protrusion and the side armor panel includes a corresponding slot, the protrusion and corresponding slot forming the toothed connection; a plurality of fasteners coupling at least one of the underbody armor panel to the frame member and the side armor panel to a cab of the vehicle; and a crushable member disposed within the corresponding slot of the side armor panel, wherein the crushable member includes a plurality of walls that are configured to deform and prevent the plurality of fasteners from shearing during a blast event.
