摘要 The present disclosure relates to an LCD panel and a driving method thereof for realizing the embedded touchscreen function of such a LCD panel. The LCD panel according to the present disclosure comprises: an array substrate, a color filter substrate and a layer of liquid crystal provided between the two substrates, with gate lines and data lines are formed on the array substrate to define pixel units. An embedded touchscreen component is provided on the inner side of the array substrate, comprising: a first conductive line and a second conductive line. The first conductive line and the second conductive line constitute a two-layer structure, with a semiconductor layer being provided between the first conductive line and the second conductive line within the overlapping area of the two lines.

A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel, comprising: an array substrate; a color filter substrate; and a layer of liquid crystal provided between the two substrates, wherein gate lines and data lines are formed on the array substrate to define pixel units, an embedded touchscreen component is provided on the inner side of the color filter substrate, comprising: a first conductive line and a second conductive line, anda semiconductor layer provided between the first conductive line and the second conductive line within an overlapping area of the two lines; the overlapping area of the first conductive line and the second conductive line on the color filter substrate is not opposite to the overlapping area of the gate line and the data line on the array substrate; and the first conductive line and the second conductive line constitute a two-layer structure, a width of the first conductive line is smaller in a direction perpendicular to the gate lines than a width, of the semiconductor layer in the direction perpendicular to the gate lines, and the semiconductor layer is positioned essentially opposite to one of the gate lines.
