Confidential data transmissions are made at a particular frequency (f1) between a central station (1) and a number of satellites (2, 3, 4) each containing a transmitter and a receiver (S/E). Calling and data telegrams use a fixed block length. If the information to be transmitted cannot be fitted in one block, it is divided into two or more blocks of standard length, each of which is secured against transmission interferences and provided with information on information distribution, the transmitting sequence and the transmission address. Transmissions and receptions are made by a cyclic rotation method.
