<p>The conveyor is for containers which have a top laterally projecting edge. The containers are for foods, such as yoghurt, and the containers are fed from a filling machine to a packing machine, with at least one conveyor path with a conveyor belt, in which the containers are arranged in series, one behind the other. Each conveyor path (3) consists of two parallel, endless conveyor belts which run synchronously with each other. Between these belts, the containers (2, 2', 7, 8) are arranged so that they hang by their edges. There is only one conveyor belt (14) between every two container rows, and by means of this both container rows can be supported. The conveyor belts (14) are toothed belts and there is at least one drive gear (16) for each belt.</p> |
