1. A copy method for copying an optical medium, comprising:
reading a first optical medium having an address overlap zone in a forward direction, wherein the address overlap zone has logical address values which are identical to logical address values of another physical area located immediately prior to the address overlap zone in the forward direction for copy protection and first data included in said another physical area are read only in said reading in the forward direction; reading the first optical medium in a reverse direction, wherein second data included in the address overlap zone are read only in said reading in the reverse direction, wherein the first data read in the forward direction and the second data read in the reverse direction are different from each other; recording the first data included in said another physical area on a second optical medium; and recording the second data included in the address overlap zone, on the second optical medium.
