Safety supply point for belt conveyor with freely movable garland type rollers. A ladder rung frame (4) rigid in itself is suspended immediately below the conveyor band (1) parallel to it on support ropes or chains (3) with one of two switches (5) being positioned at the end as a stop to switch off the belt conveyor drive. At the end of the conveyor band (1) there are guide irons (7) capable of being swivelled outwards and overlapping the conveyor band attached one behind the other. The guide sheets (7) swivelling outwards are connected to an impulse generator for the switch mechanism of the belt conveyor.
