A container for storing and mixing at least two chemically reactive components comprises 1 compartment for each component, the compartments being separated from one another by destructible partitions. A tear-open device is provided for tearing-open at least part of such a partition. Used for preparation of foamable polyurethane-forming compsn. The ingredients are brought into rapid contact and mixing with one another so that complete reaction may be achieved with no risk of part of any ingredients remaining unreacted.
