The wheel changing rig comprises two flat metal arms joined by a pivot and fitted with a cross member to form an A frame. The cross member can be uncoupled so that the frame is folded flat for storage in the boot. The bottom of the frame is supported on flat plates which can also be folded flat. The outside edges of the uprights have notches and these form pivot points for securing the wheel changing brace and enable the driver to apply the force to the wheel nuts more securely and evenly. With an array of notches it is possible to reach any wheel nut.
