The present invention relates to a novel triterpene glucoside compound and a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating inflammatory disease comprising the same as an active ingredient. The triterpene glucoside compound is extracted from red ginseng mare which will be discarded, inhibits generation of LPS inducing NO in macrophage, and shows anti-inflammatory activity which inhibits expression of mRNA of inflammatory factors such as iNOS, COX, TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-6, etc, thereby being used for preventing or treating inflammatory disease. |
